If you'd like to limit some of the levels that are available to your students for practice or even make your own custom levels available to them when they are practicing, you'll have to edit the practice settings for the class(es) that your students are enrolled into.  Depending on how you are accessing Sight Reading Factory, the instructions will vary, so please find the instructions below for your access type.

You can also set the Key Signatures, Time Signatures, Minor Scales, and Annotations that you would like available to your students for practice settings here.

MusicFirst

  1. To get to the correct page, first either create or edit a SRF task for the class which you'd like to edit the practice settings
  2. Select the SRF/home icon in the top left of the page to get to the SRF dashboard
  3. Select 'Practice Settings' and select 'Edit'
  4. Select the levels that you would like associated with this class and select 'Save'

You can also set the Key Signatures, Time Signatures, Minor Scales, and Annotations that you would like available to your students for practice settings here.

Please Note:  For MusicFirst users only, the only way for MusicFirst users to get a class-based launch (to include the correct Class Practice Settings) is to launch a task for a particular class, and then click the SRF icon to get to a class-based dashboard.  When users do a 'global' launch (selecting the SRF software button instead), it will not be a class-based launch, because we will not know which class they are launching from.
