I am a middle school choir teacher and I LOVE what SRF has been able to do for me in my classroom and with my students. I just had a couple of quick thoughts that I think would be enjoyed by many teachers who use your services.
I create weekly assignments for my students but there comes a point where assignments are so far past due, that I don't want my students to be able to access them and complete them anymore, particularly when the grading period ends and grades can't be changed any longer. Currently the only way to do this is to delete assignments entirely. I would love if there was a feature to archive assignments so the data could all stay in the system incase I make a mistake when reporting grades I can refer back to it.
Thanks for listening!
Thanks for the feedback! We do hope to add an option for archiving assignments in the future. We'll chalk up another vote and keep you updated on any developments!
In the meantime, there is a way to remove old assignments from a student's view without deleting the assignment. You can edit the 'Release Date' of an assignment to a date far in the future. This way, you can still access the assignment on your end if needed, but students will no longer have access.
